The Tele-Health Audiologist will work closely with local offices to help develop and support patient care through tele-health programs. Working with the management team, they will help assess the technical issues around these programs, implement appropriate process and procedure, and help train local staff.  Specific duties include using the iPatient app in the tele-health process, be able to take them through the sales and selection of a hearing aid, troubleshoot technical issues, and support other area offices when an Audiologist is needed.


  1. Become an expert with the iPatient app
    1. Utilize the iPatient app to take the patient through the clinical and sales process
  2. Implement procedures to guide patients through the sales process remotely
    1. Be able to troubleshoot technical and tactical problems with a remote sales process
    2. Be able to support local staff with a remote sales process
    3. Provide Audiology on Demand to support iPatient product recommendations
  3. Offer patient support in area offices where an Audiologist is needed
    1. Provide diagnostic, sales verification or troubleshooting support remotely as needed:  on demand or by appointment.
    2. Implement remote application of Soundpoint for addressing patient sound quality issues.
    3. Provide patient counseling.
    4. Recommend, monitor and advise patient on the use and outcome of counseling tools via My Starkey, My Audibel, My Microtech etc:  HearCoach, ReadMyQuips.



  1. Education: AuD
  2. Experience: 3 years of retail dispensing
  3. Working knowledge of market and business practices, especially tele-health
  4. Good problem solving, analytical abilities, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required
  5. Expert knowledge of software systems including MS Office, Starkey programming software and iPatient application.
  6. Sales and Sales workshop experience.
  7. Hearing aid industry management experience
